“Man Impersonates Dead Mother”

Psycho:  classic 1960 Hitchcock terror (psychological thriller) movie about a man, Norman Bates, who kills and then impersonates his mother

tame: gentle, domesticated

drag queen: a male cross dresser who wears women’s clothing

dupe: to con, to deceive, to cheat

walk down the aisle: get married

impersonate: to pretend to be another person

hoodwinked: to be fooled

cataracts: a medical problem in which the lenses of the eyes get cloudy. It often happens naturally with age

cross-dressing: when a men dresses in woman’s clothing

tomboy: a female who dresses like a man

rackets division: part of the police department specializing in  fraud or intimidation in extorting money or commercial or political advantage

gumshoe: a police detective
